Leaf Spring Torq Setting

We worked out what was wrong with lift being higher on Left side rear just need some advice on Torq settings on Leaf Spring and Shackle bolts

Check the Tech Archive on my site - link in sig. You'll have to convert, since all listings are in pound-feet (and not Newton-metres.)

When torquing suspension fasteners, remember to loosely install in the air, and then set the vehicle down and let it settle before you torque them "for real." Ideally, you'll set the rig down on its wheels, then bounce each bumper a couple of times and let it settle. Torquing things "in the air" will result in premature bushing wear, and alignment issues.
 
Yes your right about tighting them when there not under the jeeps weight as I found out 1 inch higher on left rear side then the right side.
