Alright, it's less than five weeks away. I need to know who from NAXJA's SC is going. I'll need help with the show n' shine/vehicle exibition. It'll be held Thursday the 9th in the late afternoon/early evening.
I'll be leaving either Friday October 3rd or Saturday the 4th. I may go to Grand Junction Colorado and Run 21RD. with some friends Sunday or I may just go straight to Moab, kinda gonna play it by ear.
So post up if you're going, I need to know who's gonna help me.
Thanks.

If all works out well, I will be leaving Sunday Oct. 5th headed to Moab and be there on Monday night at Slickrock. I should be able to help out with whatever is needed.

If anyone is leaving Sunday and would like to join me, please let me know. I'd love to drive up with a small group instead of by myself. :(

I'll be leaving early the morning of the 4th with or without the Jeep - depending on if it's ready or not. I'm going to stay until the following Saturday.

I might be towing mine with a 2000 F350 on a 16' trailer if someone wants to pitch in we might be able to tow two rigs? with a longer trailer.

Not sure if I'm going or not. May ride shotgun with you, Jes, if you've got a seat.

The rear main seal is puking oil like there is no tomorrow, but at least the hub and LA mount is fixed. If I bring a couple of gallons of 50 weight, it might get us there and back, but you may want to stay ahead of me on the highway!

Lisa and I are still going to try and make it (with or without the Jeep). Things are pretty tight right now.

I'd be renting the trailer, so yeah. I've seen people tow two rigs on a single trailer but never done it myself. What kind/size trailer would we need. If you pitched in on gas/rental fees I'm don't see a problem. Nothing is for sure yet so don't get your hopes up. :)

We're still planning to go. We'll be towing the tractor out behind my wifes new tow rig. SantaRosaXJ you'll need about a 30' flatbed with a goose neck hitch. Do you have a goose neck hitch in the back of your tow rig?

I wasn't aware of the need for a gooseneck trailer. If that is the case then I guess towing two rigs is not an option. (at least not with my truck) It does not have a gooseneck hitch.

You'd be pushing it with a ball hitch. You'll be close to or over 10,000 lbs in just cargo + the weight of the trailer itself. Your rig should handle the weight fine, but finding a pull behind flat bed to rent that can handle the weight might be fun. It could just be my area though. Call around & tell them what your wanting to do & see what they say. We have a hard time getting rental places around here to let us take trailers even out of the county let alone state.

We rent a lot of equiptment through our company but I have yet to rent a trailer for this application. I'll see if they have something to fit my needs. I've also learned that what the rental company doesn't know won't hurt them. I don't plan on telling them the trailer will leave the state. ;)
