#1 injector circut open fault

i've been getting the code now for a week or two and i cant figure out if its a short in the wiring or a bad injector. the cel will come on but the xj will run fine, other times the light will flash and i can tell i lost that cylinder. and twice the cel cleared itself on its own.

i did a quick check of the wiring and didnt see any bare spots.

what do you all think??

try switching the injector with another and see if the code follows to that cylinder! that will noarrow it down to injector of wiring.
