Removeable Doors?

I have a 1990 2 door XJ to use as a daily driver and a wheelin truck. I want to make my doors removeable for the really hot days (lack of AC) and for the trails. If anyone has ever done this please tell me how.

Open doors, Cut bottom of door hinge off (PM me if you have questions), pound out pins, remove doors. Drill out hinges for 1/4 pins, weld pins to door hinge, re-install doors at will.

If you just cut the bottom half of the door hinge off the door will simply lift on and off like the CJ's. Shorten the roll pins ~1/2" after you get the door off and ream the frame hinge holes just slightly and the door goes on & off real easy.
