WTF? Power steering craps out when hot

So my my power steering works fine when the fluid is cold or just warm.

Problem is- after driving for a while, when I have to cut the wheel hard to get into my garage, it feels like I have no power steering. It only happens when I am stopped and try to turn the wheel. If I am mpving, it works fine.

Any ideas or help?

Is the pump making funny noises?
