I will. With today's tech this is one of the super heros that is actually becoming realistic. There was a great write up in Popular Mechanics about where the various tech firms are on making a full battle armored / computer assisted soldier a reality.

This will be one I go to. Don't really have to time for movies that often but this one we'll be making time for. Even the wife is somewhat interested. Its pretty cool since the producers said the Air Force is going to come off looking like rock stars!

There was an active duty SrA (Senior Airmen, E-4) in both movies that had a few speaking parts....

Yep, great movie.

Unfortunately, I wasn't aware there was a closing scene AFTER the credits...... I wondered why so many people were still sitting around when I finally got up and left.... I hear it's a teaser for Iron Man 2.... :dunno:

i dont want to spoil it for those of you that havent seen it.... so i suggest google it.

but its a bit bigger than just Iron Man 2... :roll:

Anymore you need to stay at end of all movies, they always seem to put some extra crap on the end now. Kinda like every band does an encore now. :looser:

The first Transformers movie was filmed out at Holloman. it was pretty cool, I met Josh Duhamel at Chili's one night, and Tyrese was at the gym every day. Best part though....they stored Bumblebee (Camero concept car) and the Mustang that was decked out like a cop car (cant remember the name) at the Auto Hobby Shop - so we got to see those up close every day.

I hope they do Transformers 2 at Holloman :thumbup:

Heading out to see it after lunch when we go shopping. Wish I still had all those first issue comics I grew up with, the ones my parents threw out while I was in boot camp in 69 and they sold and bought a new house... while my bedroom got upsized much of my 'stuff' never made it, yard sale or trash.

Sounds like a perfect opportunity for the Air Force cops to have some fun. I was deployed with a couple of the extras that were in the movie. Heard some fun stuff about the production.

Hmmm.....I elected to retire when I received orders to Holloman. ;)

As for the movie...I read a glowing review so had high hopes. It was good, but moved s l o w l y the first half. They could have shaved off 30 minutes.

as for the extra 30, i think they did the same as spiderman (which after the 1st sucked.). They are just giving the the backstory of iron man, setting up for sequels (as you may have seen at the end of the credits)

Ya he was there with his kids and wife. I don't think anyone came up and talked to him since he had his family but everyone in there was talking about him. His daughter sat in his lap the entire movie too.

Good movie, pretty much like the X-men and Spiderman series. More humor then Spiderman but it was a good flick. Didn't stay for the after credits, now I want to know what I missed.
