Well, finally got my header replacement in from Doug Thorley today and I was wondering if anyone in the F-burg area wanted to watch or wanted me to post pictures of it being done or after it. I think its a pretty straight forward swap....remove left side of engine, install header, reinstall left side of engine.....so I was just wondering if anyone was thinking about swapping one in and wanted to join me in the festivities. Anyone up for it!?!

P.S. I'm not asking for help, its really not more than a one person job, but its really more of a reach out there for anyone who was interested in seeing it done.....like you Rich....and Randy....who have cracked manifolds and should follow suit and dump loads of money into your motors.....:kissyou:

I wish I could make it. I too have a cracked header and will need a replacement/upgrade at some point. Post lots of pics please.

Appreciate you thinking of us, but my folks are in town on their way thru back to FL, so I'm in for the weekend.

Enjoy the wrenching, wish I could join you but I'm still recovering form doing my skidplate r&r yesterday in prepartation of Crozet on 9/9-9/10.

I'm not sure whether mine is cracked or I have a gasket leak, but it's going to wait for the winter when it goes down for the rest of the upgrades and repairs.

Pics are always appreciated though. We're all very visual people :D
