Ok so I am going to be in the area of Mark Twain National Forest. I searched the forum for information about taking the Jeep on trails through there but only thing I could find was that they were talking about opening trails. Does anyone know if there are mild dirt roads or forest roads that I could take the Jeep on? I am not looking for full wheeling experiance, just some dirt road site seeing with the family (last thing I want is to get stranded 8 hours from home).

Thanks

This was all I could find... looks like ATV/bike only.

i live in rolla and there are tons of old logging roads that run through mark twain. most of them are pretty mild but are kinda hard to find... but flat nasty is only 45 miles away so you might as well head down there if youll be in the area

Mild is actually what I was looking for mostly since I will be running solo and need to make it back to NW Indiana with the XJ. FlatNasty looks too much for the family trip so far from home - but will keep it in mind as another place to wheel.

Thank you
