DONT HATE ME FOR DOING THIS!!!
I have a brand new Advance Adapter Atlas II 3.8:1 Transfer case with an Advance Adapter spacer (originally going to put on my Cherokee). Will fit pretty much any Jeep from 1987 and up. Comes complete with the transfer case, spacer and shifter cables. All items are BRAND NEW. It's still in the box, was going to put it on, but had a change in plans. These don't go on sale, so save yourself tax and shipping costs. Asking $2200 firm, please bring cash.

I'm well known for not saying what I think....but typing is
a whole other deal!
But really, it does suck having to sell something like that, but
reality needs to take a part in this too. If you post it on Craiglist or
maybe Pirate, you might find someone, but chances they won't be too
local.
If you want to sell it here, we are notorious tight wads and people only pony up for good deals...make that great deals.

To be quite honest, I'd like to put it in....but the wife wears the pants in the family....hahaha. That ad was meant for craigslist (hence the firm and cash part)....just didn't feel like typing it up a bunch of times, so Ctrl-X and Ctrl-V. Sorry if I sounded a little harsh, typing always comes off differently than what you're thinking.
I won it, put it out there. If it doesn't sell, guess what that means for me. If it goes, then it goes. Either way will work I guess.

Damn...No need to be a dick about it. Sure we all love a killer deal, but he can ask what he wants for it. If you don't like the price, don't buy it.
Oh...and my bid is $800 :D

Alex, here is what I think.
If you are in some sort of financial bind, there are people here willing to pay you a bit extra for it, but if you are just getting rid of it, lay down a good price and you could sell it.
Imagine it this way, wouldn't you have just shit your pants if your raffle ticket just won you $1000 cash?
I guess I have never been too wrapped up in what I 'could' have, more into what I got.
Sage advice (it aint free!!)
$850!

1 Mexican peso = 0.095028 U.S. dollars
10000 x .095028 = 950 plus some change.

Started at $2K in the other thread, had to pay for shipping (which went up) and the spacer.

Spacer is 72 bucks. So you're into it for the cost of the spacer and shipping. They're 2195+ shipping new from AA. You still haven't told us what the input shaft is. A deal would be < $1500, within a couple hundred of a new one isn't a deal. I could probably flash my military ID and get 10% off, and Rick could probably get a senior citizens discount. :)

well since this thread is already cluttered as all hell, might as well add my opinion, he can sell it for whatever someone will pay for it. If the price is not what you would pay, don't buy it. I really don't see a problem with him "winning" the xfer case and selling it for what it is worth..what somebody will give him. I would probably not post it here for this very reason, but would not hesitate to get what it is worth from a stranger rather than haggle with friends, unless they somehow deserve it. I may come off as rude but it is reality. Two hundred off of sale price is still 2 hundred dollars saved. I have no problems with people making realistic offers to me when I sell stuff, but the whole "trying to make the guy feel bad" thing just doesn't seem justifiable to me, maybe he really needs the cash for some reason.
Carry on:)

23 spline input shaft. It'd take a bit more than some posts from people I've never met before to make me feel bad.

Okay...how many more? :D
Part of the point I was making centered on his need to sell.
If he needs to sell it, he probably won't get 2K for it soon.
If he wants to sell it, then a more reasonable price should be negotiated.
Now quit with bashing me dambit! Can't you see I'm negotiating a better price here!!

I was going to install it....had some minor change of plans. After much consideration and the ass chewing I'm taking in here....hahaha. I think $1900 is a bit more reasonable. So I'll go with that if anyone wants it.
