I wont Pay/will not pay.
Non paying members can no longer contribute to the advanced fab section.
I contributed alot over the years then was cut off with the new membership rules. The new pirate cherokee section opened up and that filled the need. I dont agree with these NAXJA rules so I will never pay to become a NAXJA RED member. Disabling the ability to host pictures or to limit search functions for non paying members I think is reasonable but not what they did. If you want my tech youll have to get it on Pirate.
The responce I usually get for my reason to not pay, is a bunch of newbie paying members telling me to leave, because my cherokee is not cherkee anymore anyways.
This local forum is the only one I will read on NAXJA. I hope this forum does not turn into another paying only RED member forum.

Funny, my local chapter is the only reason I ever did send in my money. But I agree, it would be a shame if the chapter forums ever got restricted.

Diffrence between Pirate and Naxja is the association. Pirate is a forum. NAXJA is a true club with a forum. I see your points Dave, But I think that us (Wheelers) being full members in NAXJA gives us (Wheelers) More of a say so in Land use issues Via our association with Tread lightly, U4WDA and our representitives. I involved the ArizonaXJ Club with the AZOHVC, and have set us up with the AZSA4WD as a contributer.
The importance of our clubs support is huge today.. The bigger picture is more in my eyesight.. It would suck to have no place to wheel after fabricating the rig that you have. Don't you agree ?
