Got a Red Top in good condition. I replaced it with an Odyssey because I didn't like keeping the Optima on its side, with the way my engine compartment is set up.

With my York compressor, I had to move the battery over to the other side. The Mean Green tray that I'm using requires you to put the battery on its side. It won't fit upright.

And no one has sent me a PM...yet.

I thought optimas were meant to be placed on their sides?

I thought optimas were meant to be placed on their sides? they can be mounted in any direction, even upside down. i was just wondering why he chose to mount it sideways.
