Can you install WJ Seats in a 94 XJ? I have a guy who is selling me some leather seats from a 97 WJ. I would like for the fronts to be just a swap, as for the rear, I may have to modify some kind of bracket or not use them at all. Any ideas?

if they are power then you will have to remake the brackets. If it's not then you have to let us know wheter you have the hump in the floorpan that the seats bolt to or if it is flat. If it is flat then you will have to fab some stuff. If you have the hump and the seats aren't powered then ubolt the XJ base and install it on the wj seat and you are good to go

short answer is they are not drop in to 94 or earlier (brackets changed in 95 but that is only good for manual seats anyway)

long answer is you can make anything fit with some fabrication

This is what I ended up doing for mine. Yes, you need a welder. However they came out great.
