with the nice weather startin to come and some extra time to myself, i decided to get some work done on some of my projects.

first up was the 72 nova. the holley on it had the wrong springs, a hacked throttle setup, and the vacumn advance on the distributor wasnt working. picked up a new holley 4160 600 CFM, a new mallory GM HEI distributor, and a jegs billet aluminuim throttle bracket

out with the old stuff

all put back together. had to get a 1/2" air cleaner riser to clear the throttle linkage

the dash panel had some holes cut in it and a crude opening for a stereo once there (relocated hidden Alpine in the glovebox) so out that went

had to swap over the speedo, headlight switch, and wiper switch too

all back together. i have a new dash cover for the top but didnt get to it. also rerouted the tach wires and cleaned up a bunch of wires under the dash

got some work done on the jeeps too. pounded some more clearence into the front inner wheelwells

Nice Nova, Nice cut and fold too, After my fuel pump tank, and a few other things stb.. I finally spent some quality time with the heep.....more project than I intended but the outcome might just be nice, I plan on having the tank bottom flush with the "frame" ....
Here's part of what I found when I removed the fill hose cover - it wasnt rusted at all, they are riveted and glued to the floor and body...go figure...

I will end up plating the seam, covering that hole, and re-inforcing the rear xmember.
