Bilstein 5150 Shock Length/Measurements help

I'm looking at the 12'' shocks and they say they extend 29.7''inches. Where are these measurments taken from, i.e. eye to eye or top of the chamber to the bottom eye mount.

eye to eye. As if you had them installed and flex them all the way out, they would be 29". Then the collapsed measurement would be the shock completly compressed.

If you need to lower the shock mount to get the desired compression travel this is a clean strong job.
