xj/zj drive shaft Q

im going to be doing a re hack n tap real soon

the junk yard wants 25 bucks for a drive shaft or i can get one from a 95 zj for 5 bucks

acording to this site http://www.crownautomotive.net/catalog/axle/propeller_shafts2.html it looks like the diffrence between a cherokee shaft and a zj shaft is around and inch and a half

my question is will a zj front shaft work with the hack n top on my xj?

depends how much lift you have, and how close you "hack" it off. need lots more info dude. what trans and rear end do you have?

dont go by the chart exactly, i'd measure both shafts first and compare it to what you actually need when you're done with your h&t.
