Is anyone up for a meet n greet in Sparta WI May 10 or 11? Tentative plan is to have burgers and brats and some homebrew. If there's enough interest I may even brew up a batch that weekend so you can see how easy it is.

Mattfest is in June and is a wheeling event. This is just seeing if anyone wants to do a M & G in the western part of WI.

Gotcha, awaiting Mattfest details then. Some really nice scenery over there, I'd consider it on the 11th and make a weekend out of driving. Depends on when finals are for school.

Depending on our $ situation we may drive up. If we decided to drive the motorhome up is there someplace we could park it for the nite and plug in?

How long is your RV? From what I remember it's length being it should fit in my driveway. I'd measure and double check before saying yes though. I can easily do power to the driveway.

We have CSO tickets.....BUT

Have to see what the wife says.....she works Saturday till 2, that gets us there at 6:30 at the earliest.

Does sound like fun.....

I'm all for it. Just let me know if you decide on the 10th or 11th. I should be able to make either day. I'm trying to get a small group of locals to come along with me. The 90min coming from EC should be easy.

I've been on and off for a while...in fact bought my xj through a guy on here. And dont have much right now but Im in the sparta area also.

Allrighty, sent PM's to people with my address and phone number so you know how to get here. If you didn't receive a PM, post up and remind me so I can get that info to you.

Right now I'm planning on firing up the grill at about 530 and eating at about 630. I'll be home all afternoon so whenever you want to show up is fine. Just bear in mind you may end up being a helper if you show up too early!

I'm planning on doing some burgers, brats and a few steaks too. I'll have a supply of bottle beer available and will be kegging a cherry stout either Friday or Saturday. I don't know if the stout will be aged enough for drinking yet, but you can find out with me.

Good idea. I'll even make sure that it's not kept in the cooler on ice for the entire trip! It's really too bad nobody but Rev and Susie showed. I was looking forward to cooking up some more T-bones. Oh well.

I was on my way, but wound up towing my friend home. (He was comeing with his jeep as well) Turns out it was a bad ignition coil that actually melted his cap an rotor and 3 wires..... First time i ever saw that....
