The truck is set up to run on propane as well as gasoline, although it will take minor repairs to get the propane system working again. 1988 was the first year for FI on the 460.

I guess some late 87's must have got it too....I was working on one last week that was an FI 460 in an 87...unless someone swapped it maybe?

it was actually a late 88 introduction on the 460 before then it was only the small engines with fi. it would be a easy swap and it was fairly popular to do so if you towed a lot. My 85 has the 89 setup
