2.8l front driveshaft

Does anyone know if a front driveshaft out of an 86' Xj with a 2.8 and auto will fit in a 92' Xj with 4.0 and auto. I didn't know if the engine tranny combo on the 86' was close to the same length as the 92'

1 thing I'd check is the type of drive shaft. My 86 2.8 has a CV shaft.

that's what I was thinking but I didn't know for sure I think I am going to buy the Jeep even if I can't use the driveshaft. I am only giving two hundred for the whole thing minus motor.
