Making RE adjustable LCAs

Just wondering if anyone has ever taken their RE control arms and cut them, then installed the jam nut and stud to make them adjustable...?? anyone? I need to shorten mine due to adding drop brackets... so I was hoping to just modify mine already.
 
Cut, 2 hose clamps and a couple of wrenches............ easy fix

Come on,everyone knows that if you want adj arms,you have to use "adj wreches"!GEEZ
 
Its been done quite a few times,get out your "sawzall" and get going!

I really need to know more information abut the photo above though! :)
