Some things are a blessing, his Alzheimer's from various reports had gotten pretty bad. Personally I hope my body goes before my mind.
He was a great actor and a pretty smart guy with a great deal of common sense. He was one of the better heads of the NRA and a very good orator.

My hero of my childhood is gone now. I will surely miss him. I guess they can pry his cold dead fingers off his guns now. What a great loss.
