We're still not sure what breed he is, but we're leaning toward one in particular.
What do you think of Smokey now, two months later at four months old?
Any new guesses?

Honestly...

Looks kinda like a Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie)

Nice size for the kids to abuse and get away with it...

He looks like he's got some Miniture Collie and some Shepard in 'im. Good lookin' dog.

Bet he still gives a wide berth to the cat. :)

Looks like an Austrian Death Hound to me.

Looks like part Shiba Inu or Akita and part something else, maybe german shepherd. The spitz breeds have a curly tail so that straight one had to come from another breed. Other than that, it looks very similar to my Shibas.
