Will an np231 from a 23 spline aw4 work with an ax-15 from a '95 xj?

Not without changing the input in the tcase from a long 23 to a short 23 spline

thanks mark, i found a np231 with 4:1 on PBB, but i guess I'll have to pass.

its easy to swap over the input shaft or just have the long shaft cut down (that way you only have to take apart one case). i certainly wouldn't let that stop you from changing to a 4:1 case. i have a tj 231 from an ax15 behind my aw4 right now. i just took it apart and had a machine shop cut 3/4" off the input shaft. cost: $30.
