I once drove from Buttercup back to Temecula with a rubber pipe cap on the x-fer case output shaft housing. That's about 200 miles, In front wheel drive only!:eek:

Been down that road. 70 miles in front wheel drive with a peach fruit cup duct taped on the end of the case. Worked pretty good. Still carry that cup from my lunch that day of wheeling it worked so good.
