Has any crossover owner got this update yet?
Magellan CrossoverGPS NA Map and Software Update V2

I am thinking about ordering through here instead of magellan.

I already did the firmware upgrade and love it, but wonder if this will actually update my maps and poi database.

I just found it today, so I have found a whole lot on it. Have you found any good or bad posts about the update yet?

i was for a while, but then it started lockup up on me quite frequently, to the point that it was useless to try and keep a track on.

the on-road navigation works fine, it's just the outdoor mode that doesn't work well anymore.

I'm planning on picking up the Garmin Oregon in the next few months.....I'd prefer a handheld unit this time around. I'll keep the Crossover in the Jeep for on-road navigation

Somebody needs to buy a Nuvi 500 and test it out for Jeep use! I've seen it on sale for $280. :cool:
