Classic Tire Sizing?

NewToJeeps

NAXJA Forum User
Just got a 2000 Classic and still ironing out some issues needed to get it to running like it should. (Tune up done, replacing stock radiator due to leak, etc).

Runs well now without any major issues but my rear is starting to sag a little bit, so in the near future I'm thinking I'll just go with the RE 3.5 inch lift kit.

I'm new to jeeps as my user name impies, so forgive me if I sound dumb here....

My Goodyear wranglers are starting to show their age, and their grip just plain sucks in the rain, so I will eventually replace with BFG's. I like my stock rims right now (five spokes), and so in the future can I get 31 inch tires put on these rims, or will I have trouble fitting? Is anybody running this settup -- 3.5 lift with stock wheels and 31's?

yeah bud you'll be good to go..
