i have a buddy that runs a radiator shop, and he just picked up CSF as one of his vendors. im trying to work out a deal with him for one for me, but i was wondering if anyone else would be interested. these would be for local pickup only, i will NOT ship.
if a few people were interested i will discuss it with him and come up with a price.
post up if you think you might want one, cheaper than you can get it shipped from www.radiatorbarn.com (http://www.radiatorbarn.com)

I bought one of these for $175, so it's a good price.
How does your friend feel about the quality of the CSF product?
I bought mine when the local rad shop didn't fix the leak in my GDI 3-row. My CSF is still in the garage snce the GDI hasn't leaked since the rad shop took a second stab at fixing the leak.

I may be down with one, depending on price. Biggest thing is adding the gas cost to pick it up into the price of the radiator.

Count me in.....
These have the metal tanks right? yes, they are all aluminum.
be warned folks these radiators dont just drop in they are about an inch thincker than a stock radiator you have to move somethings around to fit em in but they cool MUCH better than a stock radiator.
i talked to him today he is making calls and i should have a price by tomorrow.

Hmmm. Are you sure this is all aluminum? If it's CSF2573 than it's brass and will bolt in to 91-97 I believe. Unless this is another part # that is indeed an Al rad......

I've just gone through TWO brand farking new CSF ALL METAL two core radiators (had to ask for them, they don't offer it)...before I figured out it wasn't the darn fat vatozone fan clutch (rad #1) it's the trans mount. Or motor mount. (radiator #2) Dunno. Got my new tranny mount and ordered the MORE motor mounts. I'm SICK of replacing radiators. :looney::looney::looney::looney:
SO, now I'm in on the 3 core if you get a good price. 87 /closed system. Otherwise I'm on the cheap and getting a stock one, aluminum with plastic tanks. 93 bucks at radiator.com IIRC.

you will need to convert to open rad system if you go to the 3core.

Not true on converting to the open system to get a 3 core. I just purchased a CSF 3 core for closed system on radiatorbarn.com a couple of months ago.

well here's the story, i was loaded when i called my buddy the first time, and told him i wanted prices on the CSF 3 core ALUMINUM radiators, which they dont make. he called asking for them, and got in an argument with the CSF rep who is a real asshat about how his customer wants one and blah blah blah... so now my buddy is all pissed because he thinks i made him look bad, and now he wont talk to me. ive got another source thanks to Ed ;) so i'll see what he can do for me. PM me if you would be in for around 150$
again PM me so i can keep track of how many ppl want one. hopefully we can get 5 in on it and get a good deal.
