Screaming Idle

I have a 87 2.5L and recently my idle is getting higher and higher. Upon start up it idles fine for a sencond and then begins to climb until its screaming. It only does it periodically but now its happening more often. My first thought was the idle control motor but now im thinking it my be a vaccum leak??? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
