WTB: MkIV Jetta/GTi 1.8T /TDi for DD

Looking for a 4th generation vw with either the 1.8T or the TDi. Will consider VR6 but not a 2.slow. Would love to find a cheap TDi but haven't seen many. Needs to pass mass inspection too. Prefer a standard as well.

Craigslist that shit. Nothing wrong with the 2.0 unless you're gonna be beating it around. Best part is you can pick up a 2.0 for under $300... A 2.0 with a Kinetic Turbo kit is around 220 at the wheel... Dare to be different?

My dad's in need of something to get him to and from work (not too far away) so he'd use it for a year. I really only drive to/from school on weekends (100miles) and work this summer (50/day) so idk how the jeep would stack up. Its all up in the air right now.
