Would have to be on a Friday for me!
I would need to drive 6 hours to get there.

Fridays are bad for me. I'm up for Sat-Mon.

I really want to do this trail. The weekend of the 23-24 MIGHT (I have a feeling the wife has something planned) be good for me. I'm down for mondays though.

That sounds good. We did it last year at the same time. The Aspens were turned and it was awesome. No snow on the trail either. I have a few friends who may want to run it as well, but that will hafta be a Sunday run. If not, I could do a Monday. Check with your wife, and I'll bounce it off my buddies. Have any aversions to 'Yota's?

I'd be up for Red Cone as long as we can run it on a weekend.

How's about the 24th, meet at Safeway in Idaho Springs, head over Guanella Pass to the trailhead? Any thoughts? We(wife and I) were thinking about spending the night in Idaho Springs on Sat.

If I could make it, and being that i have not done Red Cone yet......Is it possible to do the trail in LS's front and rear?
Running 33 BFG AT's and LS's fr/rr with 4.5 RE's......good enough?

I've actually taken stockers over it with a bit of doing. The problem is that if it is snowy, it is just stupid to try. If it is wet, the downhill at the end is dangerous enough.

Did it in a 100% stock Ranger with 31-10.5 BFG At's... Hey old_man, you have waaaaayyyyyy tooooooo much time on your hands! Congrats on 5k! :)

Just saw a trip report on Co4x4 and the trail looked real slick and cold.

Did anyone ever end up doing Red Cone?

Was thinking about a run this weekend. Not sure on the condition.

Didn't do it and it is supposed to snow a ton Friday night.
