Hey guys. I am resigning my bod position. It has become increasingly tough to drive my jeeps for long periods of time due to some nerve damage. I had to put a hold on the project jeeps and since they are manuals I’m not sure how much longer I will keep them. I plan on driving my xj for short distances as a dd but for everything else I ended up with an unforeseen purchase of a new full size 4x4 truck w/auto. Now that my project funds are gone I am left without an opportunity to participate in events with an xj/mj capable of what we do here in az, for example rockfest. I believe someone should hold this position with that capability.
The vp takes over the position of prez according to our bylaws. Brian, that’s you buddy. Then a decision can be made about whether to immediately fill the empty bod position.
The az bod elections are coming up in this year in november. Since this is march membership drive month and some of you just became members, you should know that you will be eligible to hold a position on the board come this nov. You must be a member for six months to hold a position. If anyone who isn’t a member thinks they might be interested then they should join up and become member soon. So why not this month.
