Well, I took the heep up to 3 feathers today for a STREEEEEETCH run to make sure things worked like they should. Sorry, but I forgot the camera so no pics.
Things stretched GREAT, the added droop in this setup makes it SUPER stable. I also added 2" width which helps out ALOT. I made the crack like it was a driveway not that it is hard anyway. I did learn that even with my limit straps that my 24" brake lines are NOT long enough at full droop and cranked hard. So I will get longer lines before Florence.
The spooled rear and locked front ATE everything up out there like nobodys business and the added pumkin clearance from swapping out the Ford 8.8 to a D44 was nice.

All in all, it works MUCH nicer with the long arm setup vs the short arm setup and I am glad I did all the upgrades.
I wish James could have gone since he helped out on this build SOOOO much, but he had to work on more rigs today instead.

My death wobble is still a problem BAD. I cant get it past 38 mph on the road without the tires wanting to fight left and right LIKE CRAZY, but I will live to solve that another day I guess. I will be trailering the rig to FJ and it works fine on the trail.

Time to go over all the bolts again and load it up with fuel and fluids and climb up on the trailer, FJ is just a few days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad it worked well for you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to see it in person, but I was burning the candle on both ends to make some green...so I can get my junk done... Damn it was a long day at my place....4 rigs, all different projects...from lincoln locking to suspension design and fabrication...:wierd:

Are you saying you are up fpr the Highway to Hell trail? I am in for that. I am sure Gasman would do it also.
