servicing shocks?

im installing a used lift on my cherokee and one of my friends suggested i get my shocks serviced?

Ive never heard about getting shocks serviced? is it difficult and expensive? what exactly is done?

i just buy new ones...they arent expensive..

servicing shocks is basicly only for those that can be rebuilt. most shocks can not with out a lot of trouble and cost so you should probably just but some new ones unless you have some bilstiens or fox's etc that were built to be serviced

You should definately change the muffler bearings while your at it!

You must get all new exhaust u bolts, and you need to have your lug nuts rotated by a certified technician..
