View Full Version : Off road Cherokee 4x4 5 speed 4.6 stroker cammed - $1600

Located in Raleigh NC. This was my off roader, It needs a new throw out bearing, or so I was told. Body has 144,xxx Miles The engine is in perfect working condition with about 10,00 miles, starts everytime, about 260 hp 320ft lbs, again this is a cammed 4.6 stroker. These motors run $2600 on ebay. Dana 35 rear, Dana 30 front NP231 Transfer case. I was in the middle of changing the gears, it needs 3.55's up front. It is a very solid machine, body needs paint, needs a couple bulbs, one of the door hinges is broke, and timing on the engine is a little off. The front bumper and the roof rack are not included. Pretty much I'm selling the motor, it just happens to come with a jeep. The body is dented, needs paint, carpet inside is stained, seats look ok though, one has a rip, cargo area has two holes cut in it soo I could drill out the rear upper shock mounts. The engine runs great, timing is a hair off, it has a sputter around like 2k. Has MORE motor mounts, A/c compressor has been converted to an air compressor, you just have to plumb it,intake, exhaust (has a few leaks), Hd u-bolt rear yoke, and a small lift. TC works good. Needs rear brake line, and the upper hinge on the pass door needs to be re welded, and 3.55 gears up front.
