I am currently in the middle of my hp44/9 inch swap. I got the axles out of a 78 F-150 full time 4x4. The question I have is I wanted to know if anyone else has used a full time 44 out of one these trucks if they noticed that the u-joints at the yoke are larger than the ones in a 44 with a selectable hub. Here is a pic of the skid
plate my buddy is putting together for me That I am going to run my radius arms too.

I have a HP44 from a 78 model. Dont count on running anything other than the radius arms that go to that axle. The C's are cast as part of the housing. I just put fresh bushings on the axle end and a johnny joint on the frame end. works fine, just not real pretty.
