Im curious to know what are the laws behind fender flares on the xj's in Colorado? Lets say 33x12x15 with 3.25 BS can I run w/o flares? can I use the original flares? or do I have to get extra wide flares? Tanks guys

No clue, But I'm running basically the same tire and wheel set-up as you are without any flares and ive passed many cops that dont seem to give a damn, I'm sure if you left your stock ones on, you could talk your way out of a fine, me on the otherhand, I'm SOL if that ever happens.

There are literally hundreds of vehicles around here that don't cover the wheels. The cops don't hassle them unless they give them a reason to. If you drive like an ass or are disrespectful, they will find every little thing they can write you up for. Yellaheap can probably quote you chapter and verse on the regs.

If you can wait a day, I will, it might throw you off a bit since i havent put on the track bar and my axle is 2" or so to the driver's side

Lemee see, I just got a 73 in a 50 zone by one of Gilcrest's revnue collectors yesterday... 6 points, $205's. No mentions of tire's stickin' out or non functioninig lights. Freakin' speedo bounces soo much, plus the 7-17 mph difference due to tire size. Had Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin'" playing while I signed the ticket. If you're not speeding, no worries!

i looked up colorado motor vehicle laws and the tire can not stick out past the safety item that is the furthest out, ie; lights or mirrors. so as long as your tires dont go past your mirrors you should be fine from what i gathered. am i right yellaheep.
