New to the overhead

I have a 1989 Cherokee Pioneer basic no frills jeep. I'm pulling the overhead console out of my 1991 Cherokee Laredo and plan on putting it in the pioneer. What do I need for the swap? I'll be able to get power up there but what else is important?

I searched but only found stuff that didn't help, but maybe I didn't search hard enough?

You will have one plug that should literally just plug in; that is the dome light. You will need to run switched power and ground to the compass/temp module and temperature sensor wiring. Here's a write up I did a few years ago about adding one...
