Why was it painted flat black?

bc when my buddy got the honda it was the dark purple and was peeling clear so we sanded it and sprayed it flat. Also have full access to spray to buyers liking if a good deal is presented or trade. thanks

if you notice the toyo in the rear its flat also....just was a thing. Ready to be sprayed if not your cup of tea
