home brew adj track bar question

i know ther is a thread on here but i have searched for a hour and cant find it someone took a stock track bar and made it into a adj track bar if anyone can help me locate this one or if you have done it your self and can give me some pointers

I have not personally made an adjustable track bar but we did cut an original track bar and lengthen it with a sleeve and re-weld it about two years ago and it is still on the road.
Why have an adjustable track bar when you can make it the correct length for your application.

mybe this is a dumb question but... how do you know how long to make it?
