just saying hi to the midwest people. i live in southern illinois and am always looking for some place to take the jeep. if any of you are nearby drop me a msg or something. anyway im riding a 89 wagoneer limited thats pretty much stock except for wheels, tires, and fender cutting. i dont have much to sink into the jeep so its always a work in progress. heres a little action shot for anyone that wants to see it:

Nice waggie looks same paint as mine but yours actually is running. Hope mine looks atleast that good when i am done

DId you check the floor under the carpet in yours that nasty insulation is a RUST whore.

no but i probably should. when i got mine it was in near mint condition. owned by an older woman who never took it offroad and kept it in a garage mostly. since ive had it ive been wheeling the hell out of it and im sure ive got rust creeping up somewhere.

Well i dont know if you saw my rust on the 87 but it was BAD still had standing water in it once i got the carpet up on the 3rd day of being in the garage...

i live south of carbondale... had no idea there was a decent trail like that i could take my jeep down. ive been running on what used to be an old county road i think over around pomona. where exactly did you guys start out at when you were following the power lines? looks like a nice ride out there.

Good to see another Southern Illinois guy on here! Not too many of us! Welcome.
Keep an eye out for the MWC Pig Gig details. That'd be an awesome time to put faces with names. It's a good time. Hope you can make it!
