Hey all, I got some questions....
I'm probably going to get a new (to me) d30/35 combo in a couple weeks. Both axles are coming out of a 1986, 2.8L, auto, 242 XJ.
I'd like to know if there are any differances between the axles on my 1985, 2.5L, 5 spd, 231 XJ. Or if there are any differances at all.
What were they avalable with in 1986 that they weren't avalable with in 1985? Could it come with a factory posi or any other goodies?
Also, what gearset is most common for that combination (for the 2.8L, auto.)?
I have 3.73 in my 2.5L, 5 spd. Will there be a gearing differance?
