As you all may recall Rob aka 12 Volt Man decided to get bigger tires and wheels. Here is how the story goes. Friday 12 Volt picks up tires and wheels. Friday night 12 Volt comes to my house to install. (sounds simple so far) After install 12 Volt decides to go get drinks. About 3 feet later with a quarter turn of the wheel we find out the tires are too big. Out comes the body saw, snip snip and all is well. He comes back today to change his oil. While waiting for the motor to cool a little, 12 Volt remembers his now good friend the body saw and that is when the party started. Well not so much a party since it was only the 2 of us and a body saw, but you get the idea. Here are the pics.

This is how it started. With 32's and chrome. (this picture taken last year)

Here is how it ended up. 33's and Black Steelies.

Not bad for a couple guys who have never trimmed before. I think it still looks pretty clean. I hope I don't end up needing more room up top. I plan on some bump stops soon, so I can probably get buy with what we did. We didn't mess with the back yet. I need to take it out and see how it does. It doesn't look like there is much you can trim off in the back.

That was quite and "oil change" today.

Here's hoping I don't have to post any more pictures of me picking up my flares on the trail.

....and the fun continues.

Before. This is one of those pics Rob spoke about. Take notice of the rear bumper.

I just went over to borrow a tool, and my bumper ended up with truck bed liner on it.
It was pretty scratched up from the previous owner. Plus we needed another project.

I think I need to trim my fenders since my 35's like to grab them.

In this picture, the fender has already been clearanced by the tire.

If it were me...I would just cut the rubber bumper cap right up even with the flare. I think it would look better. JMO.

I may go that route. I kind of like this way because it is a little different. We'll see if I need any more clearance.

They are for sale, sitting in Chris's garage right now. Getting cheaper by the day.

There are quite a few rocky mountian pin stripes from the time Chris and I went out by Simpson Springs. :smsoap:

I might be a little chicken. http://www.absolutepunk.net/images/smilies/chicken.gif My Jeep is almost how I want it and with a little more $ and a couple of trips down to Jeremy's it will be ready for some fun stuff. Then you will see me on a bunch more runs. I have been on a few, DrMoab never seems to make it on the ones when I go.
