Warning:Glove box screws.

I just got through cutting my glove box lid off of my 89 because it wouldn't open(no it wasn't locked)

Just a heads up to save someone else some grief:Check the two screws that hold the inside latch to make sure they are tight,mine were loose.If they are loose the latch will pull away with the lid and make it impossible to get it open!!!
You will have to either cut the lid off or drill the latch out.....

Both of my screws came out but had no problem getting the door open. Found one screw but other was missing and had problems with the door not shutting and the glove box ligth stayed on. but another screw fixed that. Maybe its a common problem.
