I am looking to upgrade my 8.25 to a 29 spline, since I asked in the modified tech for a guide on how to do this, and I got told just to buy a complete 29 spline 8.25. I don't think doing an axle swap would be much more expensive then buying the whole thing, but what do I know.

So, I need a 8.25 29 spline for a reasonable price within a resonable drive from 38024, as I don't want to see shipping on this rusty beast.

good luck finding one for a good price. I had to buy a whole axle just to have spare shafts for mine. I heard you can buy new carrier, spiders, shafts to upgrade a 27 spline but not sure if this info is correct.

Ive got one removed from a 94 XJ. Dont know about the splines, havent checked yet

For a 29-spline, you're gonna need a '97+ 8.25.

I know its a long drive, but the pick-n-pull in Virginia Beach has 29 spline in a burned out 97+ cherokee. You can get the complete axle for pretty cheap.
