Power seats w/ no power

So.. I have a 99 xj with power seats and all of the options work ( up,down, tilt , diagonal) EXCEPT for the foward and backward. When I push the button to move it backward the motor under the seat will click and jerk a little. When I push the button foward it does nothing. I have checked all the wire connections and jiggled everything thats not bolted down. What could be the problem? Is there a way to adjust a power seat manually somehow? Now my seat is stuck too far back which is becoming an increasingly annoying issue.
