302/C6/205 combo in an MJ?

Tried searching, didnt come up with much, and yes i know about the 302 swap thread on pirate (doesnt really have info for XJs), i dont need links to other forums, just some info, thanks.


Have a 2WD 2.8L V6 Comanche and this thing has a massive tranny tunnel.

Things I want to know at this time:

Does anyone make a motor mount / cross member kit for this swap? Advance does not list one on their website, although i thought they used to. Only Chevy V8, V6. The Ford 302 is a freebie as well as a C4 and a 9".

Will the front Mopar 44's for the JK's fit the MJ suspension mounts?

How much trouble is it to convert a C4 2wd trans to a 4wd model and connect to an atlas or stak? If this can be done, I wont have to buy the C6 205 combo.

anything from the seats forward are the same.

as for the swap, i don't believe there are any mounts for it.

jk 44 should fit right in, but a jk 44 has the same strength axleshafts and such as a dana 30, so the improvement of case housing is negligable when you think about it.
