I just want to say, "Thanks", to Bryan his friends(Don Julio) and the rest of the Sierra group for a great time that won't be forgotten. You have a great group of guys/gals and I hope to join you again soon. www.kodakgallery.com/Slideshow.jsp?Uc=151fnpbw.7b65wed0&Uy=pm4fy9&Uposy_signin=Slideshow.jsp%fromshare&Ux0&mode+fromshare&conn_s

Nice pics. Our group (me, zebaru, and Canyonman) just got back from Barrett Lake tonight. Hard trail but wonderful. One question for you... I knew there was plane wreckage up there but we only had time to hike up to the next lake (Lawrence Lake). Is that the same trail that leads to the wreckage? or is it in a different direction from Barrett? I'd like to see it next time we go up there. Thanks.

The wreckage was up in the direction of Lawrence Lake, but you need to stay(take) lefts as you head up the trail. Just past Lakes #3 & #5. It's maybe a 2 mi. hike.

Great pics Ken. It was good times hanging out with you and your Dad. I hope your carpet didn't catch on fire, becuase mine did on the way up 50 to South Lake Tahoe. Looks like you found a great campsite near Loon. The last pic of the lake at sunset is great. I'll post my pics up in the next day or 2.

Hey, Do you like those? If you play your cards right they might show up in the classifieds real soon... They have actually held up quite well until this last trip. I'm not sure what the replacements will be yet, I do know that they will be a little heavier though. Thanks,

Ken
