rear tire carrier

Does anyone know if a 31" tire will fit on a stock 95 cherokee rear tire carrier? It is a 31 10.5 on a 15x8 rim. I want a custom bumper and carrier, but I have got a lead on this and it is crazy cheap!!!! I could use this to carry my spare for now and use all my money saved on other more "worthy" upgrades... If anyone knows, let me know...tks

I think a 31 is the max for the stock carrier. Some people mod them to take 33's I think.
