Question about my axel combos

I have a '96 XJ Country with no ABS so I have a Dana 30 front and a 8.25 rear end.

My Jeep was manufactured in 5/96, meaning it would be the last month of production for the '96 model year. Since manufactures usually start the new model year in June, halfway through the year.

Does this most likely mean my Jeep has a high pinion Dana 30 and a 29 spline 8.25 rear?

Hi-pinion D30, yes.

29-spline C8.25 - probably. There's still no substitute to counting.

Don't count on June being the end of the model year. I have a '96 that has a build date of 7/96. I also have an 8.25; and I plan on counting the splines to find out what axle I have in the back. That's the only real way to tell.
