Next Weekend I will be competing in a 24hr ski event for the American Cancer Society. Ive done the Hope on the Slopes(formally known as Vertical Challenge) for the past 2 years. I placed 4th last year overall( I only skied about 18hours and there were technical difficulties with the recording equipment).
This year I intend to finish with the most vertical feet skied. A very close friend of mine passed away in June after battling Cancer for about 3 years. He was a member of my ski club and had known my dad since college. My participation in this event is dedicated to Bob Moore, and I will be skiing the entire 24hrs this year.
