MJ vs. XJ front bumper.

Well, the home-fabbed winch bumper that came on my MJ is, well, large, bulky, juts out a mile and a half, and will pretty much re-define the word "rock magnet" as soon as I get it out. My question is will a XJ bumper fit on my '88 MJ? I heard that an MJ and XJ is identical cab forward. Is that correct? I am looking at the Nates4x4 slimline winch bumper. Unless I can get XJEEPER to build me one:)

yeah from the doors forward on an MJ is identical as an XJ
